Medical BillerUltimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join a dedicated healthcare team in Hartford County Connecticut. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is skilled in managing billing processes and ensuring accurate medical record handling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and a strong commitment to delivering excellent service.ResponsibilitiesManage and process medical billing for healthcare services provided.Ensure all patient information is accurate and up-to-date in the system.Review and verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.Handle and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues with insurance companies.Communicate with patients regarding their billing inquiries and concerns.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.Assist with the preparation of reports related to billing activities.Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless billing operations.Stay updated with changes in insurance policies and billing regulations.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; further education in medical billing or coding is preferred.Proven experience as a medical biller or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.Strong knowledge of billing software and electronic medical records (EMR).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.Required Work Hours Monday - Friday, first shift hours.
